There’s still time to make some tasty festive treats such as these delicious Dark Chocolate Peppermint Rounds, created by food blogger Nikibakes for Steenbergs

Ingredients

  • 120g of good quality 70% dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of organic peppermint extract
  • A small handful of frozen reducrrants (or frozen raspberries)
  • A small handful of crushed candy canes
  • A light sprinkling of icing sugar or powdered stevia
  • Extra dark chocolate chunks (optional)

Method

Simply melt your dark chocolate and allow to cool before adding the peppermint extract.

Then pour into your silicone chocolate moulds and add your toppings before allowing to set in the fridge.

Finish with a flourish of icing sugar or powdered stevia, enjoy.

These can be stored in a dry cool place for up to 1 week.
