Celebrate this year’s harvest and experience all that is fresh and tasty this season at RHS Garden Harlow Carr’s Autumn Food & Wood Festival (Saturday 1 – Sunday 2 October).

Shop for autumn harvest produce at the weekend-long food market specialising in local delights, which range from fruit gins and whiskies to home-made jams, pickles, oils, chutneys and cheeses at Harlow Carr Food & Wood festival.

Visitors can enjoy cookery demonstrations with award-winning French chef Lionel Strub who will demonstrate how to turn fresh produce harvested from Harlow Carr’s inspirational Kitchen Garden into a mouthwatering harvest feast.

Visitors can also see walking sticks being carved and enjoy demonstrations of traditional woodworking techniques by Yorkshire Hurdles and Flying Shavings. Younger members of the family can make their own willow wand, while mum and dad watch demonstrations of a range of new cordless gardening gadgets from STIHL including chainsaws, hedgetrimmers, leaf blowers and the iMow robotic lawnmower.

Normal garden admission applies. Visit www.rhs.org.uk/harlowcarrwhatson or call 01423 565418 for more details.
