Chefs from across Yorkshire will head to the first Rotherham Food & Drink Show next weekend

The first Rotherham Food & Drink Show supported by the Yorkshire Post and sister newspapers takes place on May 20 and 21.

Top chefs from across the region will prepare an array of dishes in the Cookery Theatre plus stallholders will be providing delicious street food, produce and drinks.

Throughout the two-day event you can see demonstrations from: Matthew Benson Smith from­ The Chef’s Academy, Mark Allen and Sam Kean from­ Target Housing, chef from Chef ­ Rotherham Ministry of Food, The Wharncliffe Restaurant, ­ Rotherham College Training Restaurant, Sue Nelson ­ Director­ Yorkshire Food Finder, The Griffin Grill ­ by Dearne Valley College and ten year old Isabel Lambert.

Entry to the event is FREE, with lots of artisan food specialists for you to visit from confectionery, brownies and pancakes, to curries, burgers and pies, not forgetting the drinks stalls too.
