North Yorkshire Moors Railway will be serving their new cocktail throughout August.

They will be serving the cocktail in the art Deco surroundings of the Gresley Buffet carriage.

The cocktail combines classic ingredients such as ice-cream, cream tea and chilled Pimm’s.

Marketing manager Danielle Ramsey said: “Summer is all about making the most of your days out and packing in as many experiences as you can, just like the heydays of steam travel when enjoying the journey was as important as getting to the destination.”

“With our summer specials you can soak up the authentic steam train atmosphere while watching the beautiful North York Moors go past, with the added bonus of a chilled glass of prosecco or a cream tea – it’s a classic British summer cocktail for your memory.”

On board the trains continental breakfasts, Danish pastries, homemade scones and ice cream will be served with Prosecco. Pimms or a hot drink by the Gresley Buffet Stewards.

This is available on North Yorkshire Moors Railways between 11am – 2pm on train services from Pickering, 12.30pm-3.40pm on trains from Grosmont.

This service will be available until September 5th and no advanced booking is required for the service.

There will also be full silver service on board trains travel from Pickering right across the North York Moors. This experience means you can enjoy a first class lunch, evening meal or afternoon tea.
