The biggest day in the Leeds culinary dining calendar has been set and we want you to help us make it the best ever. The Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards are now officially open for nominations.

The awards, now in their ninth year, are based on  weekly restaurant reviews, published every Thursday in the YEP WOW supplement.
They exist to celebrate and applaud excellence in the local dining scene.
Last year, they  received more than 300 nominations for the 16 individual award categories, which include all manner of eateries, from European and British to hotel restaurants and cafés.
Whether you are a restaurateur or a member of the public, we’d like to hear from you and we want to see your nominations – so get voting at our dedicated website.
You can nominate a restaurant for the Oliver Awards by clicking on www.oliverawards.co.uk and going to the relevant section.
Nicola Furbisher, editor of the YEP and managing editor of The Yorkshire Post, said: “If you work in the dining industry or if you want to nominate a restaurant, get in touch with us via our dedicated website.”
A nominations supplement will be printed on November 24, with the awards taking place in March 2017.
