Lovers of Mediterranean summertime staple the Aperol Spritz will be welcoming the arrival of pop-up bars in pub gardens in Leeds throughout summer

Lovers of Mediterranean summertime staple the Aperol Spritz will be welcoming the arrival of pop-up bars in pub gardens in Leeds throughout summer, including The Adelphi and Nation of Shop Keepers, with exciting offers to help you enjoy this much relished European aperitif.

Adore updating Instagram and glued to Twitter? Great, post a picture with a Spritz or an orange smile using a real slice of orange, tagging the venue and #itstartsnow to receive a 2-4-1 voucher, meaning a second tipple can be enjoyed on the house. Swimming in oranges? Bring one in and swap it out for a refreshing Spritz.

Each and every serve is a perfect blend of Aperol, Prosecco and a dash of soda, and comes accompanied with complimentary olives and almonds, for that authentic feeling of laid-back Italia.

A veritable playground for Aperol aficionados, imbibers are invited to prop up the bespoke bar, designed as an affectionate homage to classic Italian iconography. From the quirky Vespa styled seats and moped helmet fruit bowls to the retro fridge cabinets, feel transported to easy-going Italy.

The softer sister of Campari, where the bitter edge has been significantly tamed, Aperol makes for a more accessible tipple and the perfect partner for Prosecco – another Italian export that’s sored in popularity in the UK in recent years.

The Spritz Swap will be at Nation of Shop Keepers on the 24th of June and The Adelphi on the 8th of July.
