There’s something indulgent about getting a takeout sandwich first thing in the morning, all wrapped up and ready for eating. If you’re looking for ideas for where to grab a breakfast sarnie in Sheffield, here are three places worth trying.

Wellies

Wellies sandwich bar is centrally positioned close to Sheffield Hallam University and the train station. Open for just over a year, it’s a great spot for students and office workers to pick up a reasonably priced made-to-order breakfast sandwich. Satisfy your hunger and treat yourself to a bacon and brie ciabatta and a cup of coffee for less than a £5.

Hidden Gem

The Hidden Gem Cafe, as it’s name suggests is a little off the beaten track, located behind Bents Green school off Ringinglow Road. A great spot to sit in and enjoy a coffee and a nice breakfast.

They use seasonal and local ingredients to offer freshly-made sandwiches and breakfast dishes. You can go for the full English with bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, fresh vine tomatoes, beans & hash brown, and black pudding.
