Ingredients

  • 600g organic minced beef
  • ½ onion diced
  • 2tsp Ras al Hanut spice mix
  • 'Perfect Salt' – to taste
  • 1 free range egg
  • 1 tsp English mustard
  • To garnish:
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 red onion sliced
  • 2 tomato sliced
  • Mayonnaise
  • 4 crusty rolls/burger buns

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 180C/350 F.

Mix the beef, onion,  Ras al Hanut, Perfect Salt, mustard and egg.

Mash together with your hands, divide into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.

Fry the burgers on both sides until browned and place in the oven until cooked through.

Slice the burger buns/rolls and toast the bread.

Spread the mayonnaise on the bottom and place the lettuce and tomato on top, add the cooked patty, garnish with red onion and replace the top of the bread.
