Move over Willy Wonka – there’s a new Golden Ticket in town at the Great Yorkshire Show!

The chefs behind the Smith & Baker Dining Room in Sheffield are offering the chance to win a free or discounted meal at the restaurant via an exclusive ‘Golden Ticket’ at a delicious Great Yorkshire Show beer and food mash-up on Wednesday 15th July.

The dynamic duo will be cooking up some fabulous Yorkshire produce in the Great Yorkshire Show’s ‘Game Theatre’, alongside a unique beer tasting.

They will also be giving away goodie bags for audience members that includes an award-winning Thornbridge beer, bottle opener and a ‘Golden Ticket’, with the chance to slash 25%, 50% or a whopping 100% off a meal at the critically acclaimed restaurant.

The self-confessed beer lovers will be offering samples of Thornbridge beers alongside their dishes at the live demo, which kicks off at midday.

Jack Baker will be whipping up a roast breast of wood pigeon with ravioli, lentil relish and a truffle and juniper dressing, while Richard ‘Smithy’ Smith will reveal the secrets behind his warm salad of venison saddle with honey and black pepper, pickled summer vegetables, watercress and goat’s curd.
