This years annual coeliac conference and food fair will be held on Saturday 20 June at Wetherby Racecourse.

Coeliac Uk, the national charity for people with coeliac disease is hosting the event.

The event hopes to attract around a thousand people who will hear from experts in the field of coeliac disease and visit one of the UK’s largest gluten-free food fairs, with 36 gluten-free manufacturers exhibiting their products.

Experts from the Charity will be on hand to discuss symptoms and provide advice on how to get diagnosed. Help and advice on living gluten-free will also be available.

This will also be the final chance for people in the region to visit the ‘is it coeliac disease’ pop up stand, which will move to the event after being situated in Leeds city centre from the 15-19 June.

The pop up stand helps visitors determine whether they have coeliac disease.

The conference and food fair is open to all, although only Members of Coeliac UK will be able to vote in the AGM.

Admission is free, however the Charity welcomes donations.

Running throughout the day will be a gluten-free food fair with 36 manufacturers – local and national – exhibiting their latest gluten-free food and offering tastings, discounts and free samples.
