This summer, Glenmorangie is celebrating the ultimate whisky cocktail by launching Old Fashioned Week from 13th – 19th June.

Old Fashioned Week will be celebrated by a number of bars across the UK including Angelica (fifth floor of the Trinity Leeds shopping centre) for the week in June, showcasing Glenmorangie’s acclaimed Extra Matured Range of whiskies. Each whisky in the range has been aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, then ‘finished’ in different wine casks, giving each dram a totally unique flavour and aroma:

–       Lasanta: finished in sherry casks,     Quinta Ruban: finished in Port casks,    Nectar D’Or*: finished in Sauternes wine casks

Some of the UK’s leading bars will be showcasing their bespoke serves for whisky lovers on their menus during the week – inviting you to explore the whisky styles and flavours, mixed with their own unique, fresh ingredients. At Angelica you can experience the ‘Twist on an Old Fashioned’ cocktail with Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban.

Drinks expert and writer Laura Foster has compiled a cocktail lover’s dream – a video diary for Old Fashioned Week to share her tour of some of the bars with the most exciting serves. From 13th June, go to www.Glenmorangie.com to see Laura’s bar tour

Old Fashioned Week is part of Glenmorangie’s ‘Greatest Finishes’ campaign, as the Spirit of the British Open this year at Royal Troon (taking place from 14th – 17th July). Glenmorangie is also inviting golf lovers to vote for their favourite Greatest Open finish of all time online at: www.Glenmorangie.com/Golf
