Torres Natureo Muscat, Spain, 0.5% alcohol, Morrisons, down from £5.50 to two bottles for £10 until 5 February

Proper wine, spun round so fast that the alcohol separates like cream off the milk. Only 0.5% alcohol, and it tastes like fresh, fruity wine.

Plaimont Côtes de Gascogne 2017, France, 11.5%, Sainsbury down from £8 to £6.25 until 15 January

Crisp and refreshing with notes of pink grapefruit and lemon. A small glass is only around 100 calories.

Cono Sur Bicicleta Pinot Noir 2017, Chile, 13.5%, Boothsdown from £7.75 to £6 until 22 January

Full of easy juicy fruit, this is my favourite first rung on the Pinot ladder.  Light enough to go with fish.

Beefsteak Club Malbec 2017, Mendoza, Argentina, 13% Waitrose, down from £9.39 to £6.99 until 22 January

Chunky and full of black cherry and spiced damson flavours.  Perfect alongside a beef casserole.
