  • 400ml lemonade
  • Handful of mint
  • 4 lemon slices
  • Bags of ice cubes

  • 15ml Chambord
  • 50ml pineapple juice
  • 10ml vanilla syrup

Method

The Tiojito

Displaying a more savoury profile and remarkably refreshing in the great outdoors, you don’t need to be a sherry aficionado to appreciate the invigorating taste of Tio Pepe Fino Sherry (£9, 75cl, www.sainsburys.co.uk) when it’s mixed with lemonade, mint and lemon slices.

A dry style of sherry that cries out for salted almonds and a bowl of olives, here’s the recipe for thirsty spectators.

Half-fill a pitcher with ice. Add the muddled mint and fino sherry.

Top up with lemonade and garnish with lemon slices.

Cirocs Summer Punch

Another tennis-inspired tipple for summer afternoons and balmy nights, Ciroc (a French vodka made from
grapes) has incorporated tropical fruit into Ciroc Pineapple Vodka (£34.83, 70cl, www.amazon.co.uk) and this sunlit infusion is a real crowd-pleaser that balances freshness with sweetness.

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the ingredients and shake vigorously.

Strain into a glass with cubed ice and garnish with a pineapple leaf.
