Award-winning restaurant Ibérica t will be opening the doors to its first restaurant in Leeds this April bringing authentic Spanish cuisine to East Parade

The seventh restaurant in its portfolio, Ibérica Leeds will open in the beautiful Grade II listed Hepper House, a stone’s throw from the Town Hall. The restaurant has been designed from scratch by esteemed Spanish designer Lazaro Rosa Violan, remaining sensitive to the building’s listed status but ensuring that it evokes the same authentic Spanish environment that Ibérica’s current portfolio is famed for. Rich blues and dark wood interiors sit seamlessly alongside an incredible curved staircase, an original lightwell, wood panelling and architraves.

Iberica Leeds external CGIIbérica’s Executive Head Chef, Nacho Manzano, who has an impressive three Michelin stars to his name; two for his celebrated restaurant Casa Marcial and a further star for La Salgar, has developed a unique à la carte menu ahead of the restaurant’s launch that will offer guests a real insight into authentic Spanish gastronomy.

Alongside the established menu of tapas, customers will also be able to choose from a selection of larger dishes, such as traditionally made paella and Serrano ham croquettes, a signature dish from Nacho’s restaurant, Casa Marcial. These dishes highlight Ibérica’s on-going commitment to offering guests an authentic Spanish experience, driven by the close relationships it has forged with producers across Spain to provide the highest quality ingredients available.

In addition to its restaurant, Ibérica Leeds will also have an its own in-house delicatessen and wine bar, accessed through a separate entrance on the opposite side of the building, offering a deli menu and wine list and selling a selection of its lovingly sourced produce, including a collection of over 12 different olive oils, 3 different Ibérico hams, preserved fish and vegetables, turrones (traditional Iberian sweets) and one of the largest selections of Spanish cheese and cured meats available in the UK.

Offering 150 covers over three floors, Iberica will also have a sumptuous private dining area on the first floor, to cater for private parties, corporate meetings and events and special occasions. Alongside the tapas menu, Nacho Manzano has also created a bar menu, cocktail menu and deli menu, to cater for every type of occasion.

With its diverse restaurant scene and sophisticated population, Leeds was an obvious choice of location for Ibérica to continue its expansion.
