The Yorkshire Crisp Company in Wales Bar, situated between Sheffield and Rotherham, have been producing their more-ish range of gourmet crisps since 2005.

Made using carefully selected potatoes grown on the Yorkshire Wolds, their crisps are hand cooked in hot sunflower oil for a few minutes then sprinkled with natural flavouring whilst still warm.

The taste is remarkable and 100% Yorkshire.

Unlike some mass-produced brands, Yorkshire Crisps do not contain any mono sodium glutamate, artificial flavourings, colourings or anything genetically modified and, understandably, The Yorkshire Crisp Company is proud of its Yorkshire heritage and the way products to stand out from the crowd.

The company has recently expanded its range of products with the launch of Yorkshire Popcorn. This perfectly popped corn is available in three delectable toffee-coated varieties – Luxury Toffee, Strawberry & Cherry Toffee and Coconut Toffee – and is locally-made with totally natural flavourings and TLC.

Tim Wheatley, of The Yorkshire Crisp Company, said: “We wanted to launch a new sweet product that would complement our range of crisps and we are delighted with our new Yorkshire Popcorn range.”

“Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End theatres are stocking the popcorn alongside our crisps for theatre-goers to enjoy and, as well as being on sale in many independent retailers and farm-shops, our popcorn is available to purchase in our Party Packs of 12 drums of crisps and/or popcorn of any mix of flavours, for just £27 delivered to your door.”

Martin English, Retail Business & Development Manager at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Theatres Group Ltd, said: “We are really excited about the toffee popcorn range from Yorkshire Crisps. Three of our theatres have already started to sell the Yorkshire Popcorn and they had to re-order within a few days, which is fantastic news.”
