It's September - not long before the barbecues are put away, the beer gardens are deserted and ice cream begins to sound like a bad idea. But fear not, those barbecues are soon to be replaced with comfort grub, and those beer garden lagers can be easily substituted by real ale by the fire. There’s plenty of events for foodies and drinkers alike this month in Leeds.

11 Sep: Embracing Yorkshire: A Culinary Journey – As part of the Saltaire festival, Salts Mill plays host to a number of food and drink events this month, one of which is this exciting foodie event celebrating local produce and featuring a number of Yorkshire chefs. It’s a little hop on the train, but well worth it.

12 Sep: The Belgrave Feast – Bringing together music, art, ale and some of the North’s finest street food vendors, The Belgrave Feast has become a firm favourite of Leeds folk, and for good reason – it’s a little bit awesome. Pop in or stop for a few hours.
