Friday, 3rd July 2015, 11:00 AM - Sunday, 5th July 2015, 18:00 PM

Following on from the success of its inaugural event at York's leg of this year's Tour de Yorkshire, The New Ebor Street Feast's first foray onto York's beloved Parliament street is happening this weekend.

Sitting across July 3rd, 4th & 5th the street feast event has been themed to celebrate the 4th July Independence Day festivities with a twist of Americana.

The New Ebor Street Feast will bring the best of the regions street food traders and craft alcohol to York this weekend. Think a food and drink festival, but with quirky stalls delivered by passionate foodies and brewers serving restaurant quality food at takeaway prices.

Kicking off on Friday at 11am, the Independence street feast will serve classic street food from hot-dogs, burgers, BBQ, surf & turf, tacos, gumbos, grinders, pizza to name but a few.

A well stocked bar will host beers from local independent brewers to reflect the flavours of different states of the USA.

Add in a prosecco and Pimms bars, the best donuts this side of the Atlantic, a Friday Funk session, Saturday’s rhythm and blues and Sunday’s soul day, you have all the ingredients for a fantastic sun-baked weekend in the heart of York.

Open 11am till 10pm Friday and Saturday/Sunday 12pm till 6pm at Parliament Street, York.

Free entry.
