Be apart of the award winning celebration of food and drink. The Homegrown Food Festival, now in its fourth year is a brilliant free day out for all the family.

The festival will see more interactive cookery demonstrations in the Food Theatre, growing your own activities in the Grow Zone and an exciting variety of producers selling delicious locally made food and drink.

Watch renowned local chefs work their magic, learn how to grow your own vegetables and relax and listen to great live music.

This year’s Food Theatre line-up will continue the Homegrown Food Fest’s tradition of showcasing the region’s most innovative and exciting chefs who use their cooking to celebrate the best of locally produced and foraged food.

Last year the Kids’ Kitchen was a huge success so the organisers are bringing it back for another year. The kitchen gives kids the opportunity to try out an array of different cookery classes throughout the day.

This years theme for the festivals Growzone is pop-up plots in which the team has been creating since October. The Growzone gives families the chance to learn new ways to grow food at home.
