Chapel Allerton’s Zed Bar on Stainbeck Lane is set to close its doors next month for refurbishment.

Bar and kitchen vendor Arc Inspirations LLP have announced the re-launch of Zed bar is inspired by Chapel Allerton itself. They aim for the bar to take on a ‘hidden paradise’ feel to it.

Kith & Kin is a concept based around the creation of a rustic, homely bar and kitchen.

Zed Bar, Chapel AllertonArc Inspirations aims for the bar to be a place where friends and family can relax and dine in comfort as well as the venue having an atmospheric evening vibe.

The bar will be getting rebranded with the lauch of a new bar and kitchen. Kith & Kin will be ready to be unveiled to the public in early September.

The refurbishment intends on drawing on the local area’s thriving allotments and well worn path’s with Kith & Kin drawing the bridge between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The interior of the newly vamped bar will have exposed brickwork, reclaimed wood and bespoke designs.

The outside area will continue the outdoors theme featuring a heated terrace with retractable awning and tempered glass, creating a space that can be used all year round.

Kith & Kin will also be partnering with local talent and produce with dynamic food and drink suppliers.

“That said, we have worked hard with our architects and designers to create something totally new and unique to the area, whilst ensuring Kith & Kin will offer a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, offering exceptional food and drinks.

Zed bar is scheduled to shut its doors for the last time on the 17th August and will re-open as Kith & Kin in the first week of September.
