The Alchemist Bars and Restaurants Ltd has announced the launch of its newest cocktail bar and dining destination, with The Alchemist Greek Street set to open in October.

A cocktail bar which celebrates molecular mixology, alchemy and craftsmanship, the establishment on Greek Street follows the success of the The Alchemist bar in Leeds Trinity centre, which opened in 2013.

Bartenders are refining the extensive list of cocktails, including the renowned Smokey Old Fashioned and the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, to name but a few.

A full food menu will include The Alchemist favourites such as prawn lollipops, sticky beef salad and the special fried chicken in a basket.

Simon Potts, Managing Director of The Alchemist, said: “Greek Street holds special memories for many people in Leeds, including myself, but it’s an area that has been quiet for a number of years. We are excited to be bringing our brand of mixology to this quarter of the city centre and in a location perfect for business meetings during the day and discerning drinkers during the evening.”
